HYBRID Opportunity in Northeast, OH or DFW, TX The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing plans and executing projects that support the broader short and long-term marketing brand strategies. This role contributes to the growth of the Kay brand by developing, managing, and analyzing marketing programs that strengthen brand equity, drive consumer relevance, and support business objectives.

The Marketing

Specialist will work closely and collaborate with Merchandising, Social & Digital Marketing, Ecommerce, Media Services & Creative, Operations, and external agencies to ensure cohesive, coordinated, and high‑impact marketing execution across all touchpoints.

This position also supports end‑to‑end campaign planning and coordination, helping bring Kay brand and product stories to life through integrated, omnichannel marketing plans aligned with sales goals and brand strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Supports development of integrated marketing strategies for the Kay brand, collections, and seasonal campaigns
  • Partners with Sr Marketing Managers & Merchandising to understand product priorities and translate them into clear strategic direction
  • Converts high‑level strategies into actionable messaging frameworks, promotional approaches, creative briefs, and product storytelling that reinforce brand positioning to help guide and brief both the IAT and IIMT
  • Partners with Sr. Marketing Managers to translate the brand and campaign strategy into actionable creative direction
  • Supports the development and delivery of campaign briefs for the creative agency, ensuring product priorities, objectives, insights, and messaging are clearly defined
  • Collaborates closely with the agency throughout creative development and production to ensure concepts, assets, and deliverables align with strategy, meet campaign goals, and maintain brand consistency
  • Oversees end‑to‑end execution of brand and campaign programs, managing timelines, budgets, deliverables, and performance tracking
  • Support the Integrated Marketing Team on leading cross‑functional teams across digital marketing, paid media, email, ecommerce, retail experience, social, promotions, and print to bring campaigns to market
  • Ensures all assets and activations are delivered accurately, on time, and in alignment with the approved brand and campaign strategy
  • Collaborates with Merchandising, Product Development, Legal and Creative teams to develop positioning and go‑to‑market strategies for new or refreshed Kay brands and collections
  • Contributes to naming, storytelling, messaging, and launch strategy
  • Partners with Marketing Analytics and Marketing Research to analyze campaign and program performance
  • Leverages consumer insights, competitive analysis, and market trends to identify opportunities to optimize campaign performance and drive brand growth
  • Works with Operations, Analytics, and external partners/vendors to track and report on marketing KPIs
  • Supports development of post‑campaign reporting to summarize learnings, insights, and recommendations
  • Collaborates with agencies and internal teams to drive continual performance improvement and effective spend
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Communications, Advertising, and Digital media or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of progressively responsible marketing experience such as campaign execution (digital or traditional), content creation or coordination, social media management, email marketing, market research or customer segmentation, event or product marketing support
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms/email tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Marketo) and social media management tools
  • Knowledge of content management systems (CMS)
