Your contributions will enhance the overall sales and environment of the store through positive interactions with customers and fellow Team Members. You will create an exceptional in-store experience and provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and assisting them in their projects. In your role, you will greet every JOANN customer and utilize the F.A.S.T. service model to meet their needs. This involves asking open-ended questions to understand their project requirements and guiding them to the appropriate products. You will engage in friendly conversations with customers about their projects while serving them at the cutting counter, cash register, and sales floor. You will also process customer transactions efficiently and with professionalism, ensuring a friendly atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include lifting boxes from the truck and receiving area, stocking shelves accurately according to planograms, and maintaining high standards throughout the sales floor by cleaning and recovering shelves. You will invite customers to participate in store activities, proactively drive sales through product knowledge, and work to minimize shrink by following proper policies and procedures. Additionally, you will assist other Team Members with tasks to ensure that the team exceeds expectations set by Store Management and help train new Team Members on various tasks. Responsibilities • Greet every JOANN customer and use the F.A.S.T. service model to meet their needs. , • Ask open-ended questions to learn about customers' project needs and escort them to the desired product's location. , • Engage in friendly conversation with customers about their projects while serving them at the cutting counter, cash register, and sales floor. , • Process customer transactions at the cutting counter and cash register in an efficient and friendly manner. , • Lift boxes from the truck and receiving area, place, and arrange items on shelves and racks. , • Unload freight from the truck and sort it according to company procedures. , • Move product from delivering truck to sales floor as needed. , • Stock shelves accurately according to planogram while maintaining a high level of productivity and attention to detail. , • Maintain high standards throughout the sales floor by cleaning and recovering shelves, putting away returns, and cleaning up spills/messes. , • Invite customers to participate in store activities such as Education Classes and Custom Framing. , • Proactively drive sales through product knowledge, suggestive selling, and building strong customer relationships. , • Minimize shrink in the store by following proper policies and procedures. , • Assist other Team Members with tasks to ensure that the team exceeds expectations set by Store Management. , • Work with Store Management and other Team Members on projects in a friendly and professional manner. , • Assist with training new Team Members on running the register, cutting fabric, stocking shelves, and customer service. Requirements • No minimum education requirement. , • Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent. , • No experience required. , • Preferred: 1-3 years previous experience in a customer-centric environment.
